Position OverviewOver the last 14 yrs our Agency has grown to serve over 4000 local households that we proudly consider our State Farm Family! In your role as a Customer Service Representative, you will help these customers adjust their insurance plans to meet the changing demands of their lives. You will personalize your recommendations and connect with those we serve to make them feel valued and appreciated. Our service is what differentiates us from our competitors, and you will be responsible for making it remarkable!A typical day in the life of a Customer Service Representative at our Agency could include the following assisting a family with insurance for their new home; helping a customer file a claim after an accident; providing a quote for a new vehicle; recommending options to cover unmet needs.

  • Greet our customers with a warm smile and make them feel welcome and appreciated
  • Assist our current State Farm customers with basic to complex requests
  • Provide advice and recommendations tailored to individual needs
  • Work as a Team player to provide our customers the exemplary service we are known for

Requirements
  • Excellent communication skills - written, verbal and listening
  • Extremely comfortable with technology
  • Capable of studying for and passing a State Insurance Exam

Preferred Background
  • No insurance background required - we will educate and train the right candidate
  • We will only consider candidates who have prior office experience (Insurance, Banking, Healthcare Admin, or Retail) or those who are recent college graduates
  • Salaries will be based on the strength of the applicant and the relevancy of their experience

Compensation $40,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
